Contact data: the email address you submit to the waitlist or to contact us.
Identity data (KYC): where required, the identity information and documents you provide at onboarding.
On-chain data: wallet addresses and transaction data you use with the Protocol (this is inherently public on the blockchain).
Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and basic usage analytics.

2. How we use it

To operate the Protocol: process policies, settlements, and payouts.
To meet legal and compliance obligations, including identity verification and sanctions screening.
To communicate with you about early access, service updates, and support.
To secure the service and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Legal basis

We process data to perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. Where required, we rely on your consent (for example, marketing emails), which you may withdraw at any time.

We share data only as needed with: identity-verification providers, infrastructure and service providers, blockchain networks, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, KYC records may be retained for a statutory period). Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired.
